Effect of Branch Bending on the Canopy Characteristics and Growth of Peach (Prunus persica (L.) Batsch)

چکیده
A reasonable main branch opening angle can improve the canopy light environment of a tree, change direction nutrient transport, and promote formation flower buds. In this experiment, 3-year-old ‘Lu Hong 618’ was used as test material to study effects different angles (three treatments: 45°, 65°, 85°) on distribution, characteristics, fruit quality, bud quality ‘Y’-shaped peach trees. The findings were follows: solar energy utilization in varied greatly between angles, with best relative intensity at 85°. addition, distribution photosynthesis more 85°, daily variation range CO2 concentration inner greatest, which facilitated ventilation penetration canopy. With increase angle, new growth trees trunk inhibited. results good structure leaf morphology. Leaf stomatal morphology soluble sugar starch contents levels are influenced by light, higher significantly size photosynthetic capacity, SPAD value, contents. C/N tended increase. pattern similar that distribution. same fruiting part, 85° 45° than 65° slightly but difference not significant. treatments weight, flesh firmness, solids, titratable acid pulling effectively increased layers promoted accumulation nutrients. An be suitable for tree shaping cultivation.

Quality oriented fruit breeding: Peach [Prunus persica (L.) Batsch]
Promising new tools for peach fruit quality breeding have been revised in this work. These tools included fruit quality evaluation through physical, chemical and sensorial parameters and post-harvest storage evaluation. The development of a feasible method for an early testing of peach selections generated in breeding programs is also well described together with the discussion of the inheritan...

BACKGROUND Nicotine is a major toxic component of tobacco smoke and has been recognized as a risk factor to induce oxidative tissue damage, which is a precursor to cardiovascular diseases, lung-related diseases, and cancers. Peaches (Prunus persica) have been used for the treatment of degenerative disorders, such as hypermenorrhea, dysmenorrhea, and infertility in Asian countries. In this study...
